March 31 – How to Choose a Digital Camera, 7-9pm, $35
Thinking about buying a digital camera but don’t know the high tech terminology or where to start? If so, this workshop is for you. We’ll cover the different types of digital cameras available and the advantages and disadvantages of each, image sensors, viewfinders, digital vs. optical zoom, memory cards, lenses, resolution, image editing software, and much more. Learn the factors you should consider before investing in a digital camera or upgrading to a different model. We’ll have samples of digital cameras on hand for you to examine close-up.
April 14, 21, 28, and May 5 – Learn How to Use Your Digital Camera, 6:30-9 pm, $200 (if taken with the class on 3/31, $225 total)
Learn what all the dials and menus mean on your camera and how to use them effectively. Topics to be covered include image resolution, file formats, storage media, ISO, white balance, color spaces, sharpening, metering systems, histograms, exposure compensation, viewfinders, using flash, and much more!

Hi Lia,
I took a class with you at AVA and am wondering if you will be offering a Photoshop class (not Elements, but regular Photoshop) any time soon. If not, do you have any recommendations of others that offer a Photoshop class.
